Interactive Light Art Installation

This interactive installation is inspired by the countless pinholes on the walls of RISD’s CIT building, left behind by generations of students pinning up their works. These pinholes resemble seeds, each one marking the start of a design journey that will eventually blossom in its own way. By inserting pins into the wall, participants trigger light animations that grow organically, visualizing the collective memory of the space and the growth of creative ideas.

This project was created in a cross-disciplinary interactive studio, where I explored Arduino and TouchDesigner to bring the concept to life. It reflects my interest in connecting physical traces of the past with digital narratives.
